The rustic warmth of the island top helps create that fire in the kitchen. This island will most definitely be a talking point and will fit very easily into your existing kitchen with either the same colour or contrasting colour. It can also stand alone drawing your eyes to the magnificent piece of furniture that it is. There is a variety of different top finishes that are available on the island units. Oiled tops are available sourced from Victorian mills adding an amount of character to the piece and history to the piece. Oak tops are available, oiled or stained and a range of different granites can be used to finish the units on request.

All finishes are by hand; this is where the quality is very much evident, whether you chose a traditional waxed finish, painted flat or the distressed finish (rub back – exposing light flecks of the undercoat or crackle – which offers a look of a vintage piece of furniture again exposing the undercoat, both these paint finishes can be complimented together), each of these finishes are individual to each piece, hand finished carefully to the highest of standards.
